More than just a PC
A workplace is more than just a PC. These days there are many different concepts to deliver end-user functionality to the workplace. Provisioning and managing thin clients, fat clients, virtual clients with (virtual) operating systems and (virtual) applications, along with the required backoffice infrastructure, is one of the INISI's specialities.
At INISI we design, build and support these complex workplace infrastructures, with a strong focus on optimizing the end user experience.
The workplace also includes the fixed line (IP) telephone, mobile telephone, smart phone or PDA. A fully functional workplace includes all these devices and facilities needed by the user to do his work. The desktop itself is the place where all this complexity comes together. An intelligent infrastructure is necessary to provide a flexible but stable environment quickly.

When configuring the workplace it is important to consider all the needs and wishes of both the user and the rest of the organization, including ICT operations. Functionality is not the only requirement – stability and availability are also important as is agility: the ability to respond quickly to a changing environment.
